November sees the return of a much missed restaurant, the opening of a new Dishoom, a seafood import from Boston and many more exciting restaurants opening in London.
Farringdon – 66 Cowcross St, London EC1M 6BP
All eyes are on Farringdon for the opening of this pub and restaurant from dream team Henry Harris and Dave Strauss. The downstairs pub will have a kitchen counter and an excellent lunch menu while upstairs the much-missed Racine will take on a new form with Lyon influences.

Knightsbridge – 87-135 Brompton Rd, London SW1X 7XL
He has a restaurant in the World’s 50 Best and now Björn Frantzén is opening his London restaurant in Harrods. It looks like the store’s most ambitious restaurant to date, including Harrods’ first-ever rooftop terrace. On the catering side, a menu with Swedish and Asian flavors will be offered, and some Frantzéns will also appropriate British dishes.

This new corner restaurant in Soho sounds like a little piece of Spanish sunshine. From the team behind North London’s Escocesa and Bar Esteban, they’ll serve up Scottish seafood in dishes inspired by regions across Spain.

Notting Hill – 15 North Audley Street, London W1K 6WW
Lobster rolls, caviar brunch and seafood towers – that’s what Boston import Saltie Girl promises Londoners when it opens its Mayfair outpost. This should be a good place to eat at the counter too, so if you want to watch the well-heeled locals of W1 go by while you feast on a mountain of shellfish, this will be the place.

Holland Park – Off Abbotsbury Road. Holland Park, London W8 6LU
After a long period of decline, the fortunes of the Belvedere are on the rise. The co-founders of Goodman and Wild Tavern in Chelsea have come to the rescue of this iconic building by promising a Mediterranean-luxe menu similar to the style of their Chelsea spot. Expect to see the Made in Chelsea set here supporting one of the two bars.

Take a trip to Palestine without leaving West London at this new Notting Hill restaurant by renowned Palestinian French chef Fadi Kattan. It will mix the best British produce with fair trade produce from Palestine and give traditional dishes a modern twist.

It’s only a short walk down Pentonville Road from Team Hicce’s original site at Coal Drops Yard to their next opening in Islington. It should be a handy place to grab a pint and high-end bar snacks if you’re shopping in the nearby Chapel Market and the Sunday night wine clubs also seem like fun.

Star chef Phil Howard’s fresh pasta restaurant in Piccadilly will be a welcome addition to the area for Londoners and visitors alike. And with Louis Korovilas taking over as executive chef, you can expect the pasta offering to be pretty darn good.

It’s been five long years since Dishoom opened a new restaurant, so it’s safe to say their legions of fans will want to head to this new Canary Wharf outpost when it opens in November. It’s huge (space for 350 diners) and the riverside terrace should be a big draw next summer.

As one of the London chefs who was an early (and massive) hit on TikTok, Thomas Straker’s eponymous first solo venture opening is pretty much guaranteed to get big social media coverage. . Given how obsessed his food is with potatoes and butter, a promised dish of burnt butter potato gnocchi will be the one to try.
