Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary stream will reveal new information about the game
A report of Famitsu revealed that a livestream to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series will air on May 26, 2021 at 11:30 p.m. EDT. The two-part presentation will cover different topics in each section, according to Square Enix. The first part of the presentation will focus on the most recent games in the Dragon Quest series, such as Dragon Quest X, a Nintendo Switch game exclusive to Japan.
The interesting aspect of this report, however, is the fact that Yuji Horii is expected to make an appearance and provide new information about a ânew line-upâ in the Dragon Quest universe (via Nintendo’s life).
As of now, fans aren’t sure if this new information refers to the whereabouts of already established titles, or if a potential âDragon Quest XIIâ is on the horizon. The most recent spinoff titles in the series, such as Dragon Quest Builders 2, have received high praise from gamers and critics alike, and fans are open to even more genres within the universe. The last main game in the series, sporting its famous long title, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition was extremely popular among Western Nintendo Switch gamers, considered one of the best JRPGs released in recent times. .
