SCHENECTADY, ​​NY – The Union College men’s lacrosse team is playing for a national championship this weekend and we hope you can join us at Pratt and Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut as the Dutch take on the Rochester Institute of Technology!

TICKETS: Tickets for all sessions can be purchased for all three matchdays (including the semi-finals and Division I finals), as well as single-day tickets for the Division III and II finals on Sunday. For match day sales, the ticket office is located on the south west side of the stadium at Gate B and opens three hours before the start of the match. Sections 113 to 119 will be the main Union sections for the weekend.



UNION STUDENTS: The Student Forum will provide fan buses to the game. The bus(es) will depart from Old Chapel Circle at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday. Registration begins Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Student Activities Office. Registration includes transportation to and from the game, a ticket to the game and a box lunch. Students can only register for themselves and places are limited, so reserve your place quickly to support the Dutch!



CAR PARK: Parking passes can be purchased before the game for $20 (cars) or $50 (RVs and buses). To purchase a parking space for the Sunday session, click on this link. Please note that the link does not cover Saturday or Monday games if you purchase an All-Session ticket. The parking lots open three hours before the start of the game and only credit card purchases will be accepted on game day.

TAILGATE: The Garnet Sticks and Office of Alumni and Parents and Commitment will be holding a pregame reception in the Rentschler Field parking lot from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. To register for the pre-game tailgate, click here. Upon entering the car park, inform stadium staff that you wish to be directed to the Union College section. Individual tailgating is permitted at Rentschler Field; please see stadium tailgating policies for more information.

MORGANTOWN, WV — West Virginia University is hosting its annual Gold-Blue Spring Football Game presented by Encova Insurance on Saturday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at Mountaineer Field in Puskar Stadium, Milan.

With many events taking place at Mylan Park (All-American Grand Bash, Mountaineer Classic Track Meet, Monongalia Classic Baseball Tournament, Aquatics Facility swim meet) and High Point Racing this weekend, fans are encouraged to use the Interstate 68 (not exit 155 on I-79) to avoid traffic.

Doors open at noon and tickets are available for $10 each. Fans are encouraged to pre-purchase tickets online at WVUGAME.com and select the mobile delivery option to avoid long queues at the stadium on match day. “Fans with mobile tickets are strongly encouraged to add tickets to their Apple or Google Wallet app before heading to the venue.

Tickets can be purchased at the Puskar Stadium Milan North Gate Box Office and South West Door Box Offices (cash only) on matchday from 11am and at the Mountaineer Box Office located in the WVU Coliseum all week long. WVU students will be admitted free with a valid WVU student ID at any gate, and Mountaineer Kids Club members can show their badge for free admission.

WVU’s clear bag policy remains in effect, and the Athletic Department invites and encourages fans to visit WVUsports.com/clearbag for more information, to view photos of cleared and disallowed items, and to get answers. to frequently asked questions about the clear bag policy. .

Supporters are asked to reduce what they bring to the stadium to minimize touch points and bag searches. When security personnel check bags at the gate, they do not dispose of the bags – each fan will be responsible for showing the contents of their individual bag. This includes fans removing all items from their bag to inspect them as needed. For faster entry, do not bring bags inside the stadium.

Fans are encouraged to check out the Mountaineer Gear Sale taking place inside the Caperton Indoor Training Center beginning at 9 a.m. The sale offers fans the chance to purchase apparel ranging from football shirts to shorts, shoes and other items from WVU athletic teams.
The Traditions Hall will be open from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

For the Gold-Blue Game, all fans, including WVU students, must enter the stadium through the north, west, southeast, and southwest gates. No stadium re-entry passes will be issued for the game. Stadium seats, restrooms and concessions will be open only in the lower sections of the east, west and south sides (no seats on the upper deck).

Supporters are reminded that umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium.

ADA seating will be available on the west, east and north sides depending on demand.

Booths will open at noon. Several stands will be open on the west and east sides of the stadium, but there will be no concession areas open on the south end. Beer sales will end at the end of halftime.

All car and RV parking is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The following hospital parking lots on the east side will be available for parking: F1, F2, F3, F4 and E. The following hospital parking lots on the west side will also be available for parking: A1 and B1.

The most central car parks and the westernmost car parks of the hospital’s large blue car park (hospital car parks C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, C9 and C10) will be reserved for hospitalized patients , visitors and staff. Towing will be taxed.

There will also be parking available at the law school based on availability.

The PRT operates on its regular Saturday schedule (9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), priced at 50 cents each way. It is free for all WVU students and staff with a valid WVU ID.

The Gold-Blue game, which is scheduled to begin around 1:07 p.m., will wrap up WVU’s spring football drills.

This year’s game will be a traditional four-quarter Gold versus Blue contest.

The team of veteran radio announcers from Tony Cardi (game by game), Dwight Wallace (analysis) and Jed Drenning (sideline) will bring the sights and sounds of the game to audiences listening on the Mountaineer Sports Network presented by Learfield.

The Gold-Blue Spring football game will be televised on the Big 12 Now on the ESPN+ platform. Andrew Caridi will handle play-by-play duties, Dale Wolfley will provide analysis and Amanda Mazey will be an on-site reporter.

Additional television coverage will begin with a Mountaineer GameDay Gold-Blue pre-game special at noon on all local Nexstar affiliates, followed by the game broadcast at 1 p.m. on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

This year again, there will be no autograph session after the match. Mountaineer football will hold its annual fan day in August with details to be released later this summer.

A portion of the proceeds from the Gold-Blue game will once again benefit WVU Medicine Children’s. Since 1984, Mountaineers have donated more than $778,000 to WVU Medicine Children’s.

SPRING PLAYBOOK DONATION TO BENEFIT LANSING PUBLIC SCHOOLS:
During the spring game, the Michigan State football program and coach Mel Tucker give back to the community support they receive each fall by hosting a book drive to benefit the more than 10,000 students who make up the next generation of Spartans in schools across the Lansing Public School District.

MSU Athletics has partnered with the Lansing Public School District, which includes 25 area schools from K-12, to collect a variety of books that support Lansing schools’ DEI initiatives. To enter the game, participants aged 18 and over will be encouraged to donate lightly used and new books for ages 3-18. The NCAA Tournament is down to its final four teams…some would call it the Final Four.

Kansas and North Carolina clinched their tickets to New Orleans on Sunday with victories over Miami and Saint Peter’s respectively.

In Chicago, the Jayhawks beat Miami 47-15 in the second half to turn a tight, and possibly upset, game into a 76-50 run at the United Center. The win sets up a domestic semi-final against Villanova. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:09 p.m. ET Saturday. DraftKings posted the initial line in Kansas, -4.

The last ticket to New Orleans was punched at the Wells Fargo Center when North Carolina turned Cinderella into a pumpkin when the ‘Heels easily beat the 15-seeded Saint Peter Peacocks by 20 in South Philly. The victory sets up a duel with passionate rival Duke in the second national semi-final on April 2. DraftKings posted the initial line at Duke, -4.5.

Wabash and Elmhurst meet in the second semifinal of the 2022 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The Little Giants advance in their tournament pool with wins over Berry (91-79), Emory (87-86), Williams (73-59) and Illinois Wesleyan (81-75). The Little Giants are on a school-record 24-game winning streak, eclipsing the 1981-82 Wabash basketball team’s 19-game winning streak. This 19-game streak ended with the Little Giants winning the 1982 NCAA DIII National Championship.

Wabash (28-3) is averaging 89.8 points per game, fifth best among Division III programs. The Little Giants’ 51.6 field goal percentage is just behind Yeshiva’s 53 percent. Wabash is third in the nation in three-point field goal shooting, hitting 40.3% of his attempts from beyond the arc.

jack davidson, recently named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Team and CoSIDA Academic All-America First Team, leads Wabash and ranks third in the nation in averaging 25.7 points per game. The all-time leading scorer in basketball history Wabash with 2,433 points brings a full game to the field with 5.9 rebounds and four assists per game. He leads the nation in three-point field goal percentage (49.0%), free throws made (200) and total three-point field goals (122).

Tyler Watson adds an average of 16 points per game to Wabash’s offensive mix. He is averaging 5.4 assists and rebounds per game for the Little Giants. Watson earned D3hoops.com All-Region 7 honors and was also selected by CoSIDA Academic All-America. He set a Wabash single-game record earlier this year by dishing out 14 assists in a win over Hiram. Kellen Schreiber shooting 68.7 percent from the field, the fifth-best shooting percentage among Division III men’s basketball players this season. Schreiber is averaging 15.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

Elmhurst (26-6) won the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Tournament to earn the league’s automatic bid for the NCAA Tournament. The Bluejays beat Washington and Jefferson (95-70), Pomona-Pitzer (76-70), Calvin (79-77) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (87-84 in overtime) to advance to Friday’s semifinal against Wabash. The official schedule of Digimon Con, which is set to air on February 26, 2022, appeared. Bandai will kick off the digital event with a segment dedicated to Digimon video games. A new trailer for the show also included footage of the upcoming console game Digimon Survive.

Bandai unveiled for the first time Digimon Con in December 2021. He teased that the global event would have segments dedicated to Digimon anime and games, including the Vital Bracelet gadget. One of the highlights of the show will be a live musical performance by Ayumi Miyazaki, the singer famous for Digimon anime insert songs like “Brave Heart”.

The digital event will be available in two languages. Bandai noted that some segments will have different content between the Japanese and English streams. Although the company will release an archive of the show in the future, it will not include Ayumi Miyazaki’s performance.
